This is common sense, but sense is neither common nor sensible to an ideologue as when Pres Obama was asked by a lefty journalist on if raising taxes on the top 2% was a good thing when it would cost 700,000 jobs and only fund the government for 8 days, Obama said it did not matter if it was good or right, it was what was fair. the rich needed to pay their fair share so it was immaterial how many jobs were lost or what taxes were actually brought in. Fox mentioned that by raising taxes less tax revenue comes in which is fact based with the Reagan recovery and Clinton high times of which Clinton took Reagan's credit and the MMS who hates Reagan were all too happy to give Clinton this false credit.
