We will leave the rally and meet up with others at two separate locations for the purpose of canvassing the districts containing the Senator and Representatives who lead the hostile takeover of our legislature. They lead the effort to pass Medicaid Expansion/Obamacare and to add insult to injury they added over 600 unread pages to what has now become a Democrat budget heavily-laden with pork barrel spending.

The liberal Republicans in the Arizona State House of Representatives and Arizona State Senate joined forces with the Democrats and the Governor in a plot to remove the Speaker of the House and the President of the Senate, amend the legislative rules and pass medicaid expansion in one night. Because they didn't understand the rules, the attorneys told them they could not ram it through the process in one night so they allowed leadership to remain, suspended the rules to bypass giving the bill a public hearing and brought it directly to the floor. With one exception (I give Doris Goodale much respect for her willingness to answer my questions honestly) the liberals refused to answer questions about the $9 billion budget, including medicaid expansion. Their refusal to answer questions about the content of their budget, including medicaid expansion and amendments, means there was never a public vetting before foisting a greatly expanded redistribution of wealth upon the people of Arizona. This video highlights the 13 hour fight put up by Arizona Conservative Legislators against this tyranny.

Title II: Protections for Electronic Communication Service Providers - (Sec. 201) Prohibits any federal or civil action against any person (including an electronic communication service provider or a landlord or custodian) providing surveillance assistance to an IC element if the AG certifies that such assistance was: (1) provided pursuant to an order or directive under FISA; (2) in connection with an intelligence activity authorized by the President during the period beginning on September 11, 2001, and ending on January 17, 2007, and designed to detect or prevent a terrorist attack against the United States; (3) the subject of a written request from the AG or IC element head to the provider indicating that the activity was authorized by the President and determined to be lawful; or (4) not provided. American Betrayal: How Enemies Within Harm the U.S. (With video)
1) The decision to recognize the Soviet Union by President Franklin D. Roosevelt entirely ignored the Ukrainian famine created by the Soviet government in the 1930s, which cost 20 million people their lives. This despite the fact that Joseph Stalin’s murderous actions against them were covered in the U.S. media.
2) Overtures by high-level German opponents of Hitler as early as 1943 to the U.S. government were stonewalled by the national security staff because the Germans were also anti-Communists and therefore did not fit in with the U.S. alliance with the Soviet Union. Had we listened, an overthrow of Hitler might have ended the war before a second front was opened on D-Day in June 1944.
3) The U.S. shipped enriched uranium to the Soviets during World War II, routing it through Canada as part of the lend-lease agreement, despite the fact that this was against U.S. law.
4) The forced repatriation of thousands of Soviet citizens, as well as those of Central and Eastern Europe, by the Allied forces after Yalta was a dark consequence of the unholy pact made with Stalin.
On to Samantha Powers and why she
is a perfect fit for our current occupant of the WH. Examples abound in her
writings, speeches, and media appearances. Among the most instructive are the
Power sees America as an enemy of freedom, rather than its indispensable defender: “Some anti-Americanism derives simply from our being a colossus that bestrides the earth. But much anti-Americanism derives from the role U.S. political, economic and military power has played in denying such freedoms to others.” (New Republic, March 3, 2003)
Power exemplifies the absurd yet “politically correct” notion that there is only a connection between some Muslims on the one hand and terrorism on the other if we say there is. This contention ignores reality; those who adhere to the Islamist doctrine of shariah must engage in jihad. Yet Power insists: “All we talk about is ‘Islamic terrorism.’ If the two words are associated for long enough it's obviously going to have an effect on how people think about Muslims.” (New Statesman, March 6, 2008)
Power confirms that her activist agenda of remaking the world, rather than a commitment to objective reporting, prompted her to join the Fourth Estate: “I got into journalism not to be a journalist but to try to change American foreign policy. I'm a corny person. I was a dreamer predating my journalistic life, so I got into journalism as a means to try to change the world.” (Salon, February 18, 2008)
Power insists on subordinating the United States to the dictates of the “international community”: “Influence is best measured not only by military hardware and GDP, but also by other people's perceptions that we, the United States, are using our power legitimately. That belief – that we are acting in the interests of the global commons and in accordance with the rule of law – is what the military would call a 'force multiplier.' It enhances the U.S. ability to get what it wants from other countries and other players." (New Statesman, March 6, 2008)
Ditto: “The United States must cease its reliance on gratuitous unilateralism. We make rules and create international institutions precisely in order to bind states when their short-term interests would otherwise lead them toward defection…" (New Republic, March 3, 2003)
Power’s commitment to transnationalism prompts her to trivialize the infringement on U.S. sovereignty entailed in submitting to the “interests of the global commons” and the authority of “international institutions”: “Only U.S. resources and leadership can turn such institutions [as the International Criminal Court] into forces for the international stability that is indispensable to U.S. security. Besides, giving up a pinch of sovereignty will not deprive the United States of the tremendous military and economic leverage it has at its disposal as a last resort. (New Republic, March 3, 2003)
Although Power has subsequently made a point of apologizing for and professing bewilderment about a particularly egregious example of her anti-Israel sentiments and her attachment to the “responsibility to protect” – in this case Palestinians from Israeli oppressors, the following statement was both clear and seemingly menacingly heartfelt at the time: “…It may more crucially mean sacrificing – or investing, I think, more than sacrificing – billions of dollars, not in servicing Israel’s military, but actually investing in the new state of Palestine, in investing the billions of dollars it would probably take, also, to support what will have to be a mammoth protection force, not of the old Rwanda kind, but a meaningful military presence. Because it seems to me at this stage (and this is true of actual genocides as well, and not just major human rights abuses, which were seen there), you have to go in as if you’re serious, you have to put something on the line." (Video interview with Harry Kreisler)
Samantha Power’s alarming transnationalism is also expressed in her enthusiasm for the U.S. to redistribute its wealth to less developed nations, as envisioned in the UN’s Millennium Development Goals. Power’s reflexive willingness to run down her country as a cheapskate when it comes to foreign assistance ignores our generous underwriting of the United Nations and the unmatched magnanimousness of the American people through private charity. Particularly illuminating is her insistence that we must aid – and although unsaid here, for that matter, intervene militarily on behalf of – countries as long as we have no interest in them: “I think the United States must change its relationship to the Millennium Development Goals. It would make an enormous difference practically and in terms of public diplomacy if we were not second-to-last among rich countries in giving aid away; if we were giving money away, investing in societies that actually don’t have anything to do with our national security. The instances where we make sacrifices strictly in order to benefit other people are so few and far between. Even our democracy rhetoric is so rooted in a story about security and how non-democracies become threats and so on." (Interview with the one-worlder organization Citizens for Global Solutions)
Republicans on the committee that will shortly consider her nomination may wish to reflect on her contempt for that panel when the GOP ran it: “The Senate Foreign Relations Committee seems largely toothless. It is not your father’s Senate Foreign Relations Committee, not your mother’s. No hearings on sensitive issues and that means no meaningful oversight.” (Citizens for Global Solutions interview, cont'd)

Lead Story: IRS tracks
your digital footprint (The IRS has mentioned this is the past as
The Internal Revenue Service is collecting a lot more than taxes this year -- it's also acquiring a huge volume of personal information on taxpayers' digital activities, from eBay auctions to Facebook posts and, for the first time ever, credit card and e-payment transaction records, as it expands its search for tax cheats to places it's never gone before.
Consumers are already familiar with Internet "cookies" that track their movements and send them targeted ads that follow them to different websites. The IRS has brought in private industry experts to employ similar digital tracking -- but with the added advantage of access to Social Security numbers, health records, credit card transactions and many other privileged forms of information that marketers don't see.
-Charting and analyzing social media such as Facebook.
-Targeting audits by matching tax filings to social media or electronic payments.
-Tracking individual Internet addresses and emailing patterns.
-Sorting data in 32,000 categories of metadata and 1 million unique "attributes."
-Machine learning across "neural" networks.
-Statistical and agent-based modeling.
-Relationship analysis based on Social Security numbers and other personal identifiers.
The IRS has quietly upgraded its technology so tax collectors can track virtually everything people do online.

Act of 2013
FILED AMENDMENTS TO S. 744
"The gun has been called the great equalizer, meaning that a small person with a gun is equal to a large person, but it is a great equalizer in another way, too. It insures that the people are the equal of their government whenever that government forgets that it is servant and not master of the governed. When the British forgot that they got a revolution. And, as a result, we Americans got a Constitution; a Constitution that, as those who wrote it were determined, would keep men free. If we give up part of that Constitution we give up part of our freedom and increase the chance that we will lose it all." --Ronald Reagan

"By calling attention to 'a well regulated militia,' 'the security of the nation,' and the right of each citizen 'to keep and bear arms,' our founding fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy... The Second Amendment still remains an important declaration of our basic civilian-military relationships in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of his country. For that reason I believe the Second Amendment will always be important." - John F. Kennedy
