"Obama's Prime Directive" by Nutnfancy

A friendly reminder to the Obama administration about the federal law about arming terrorist groups:
18 USCS § 2339B Providing material support or resources to designated foreign terrorist organizations
    (a) Prohibited activities.
       (1) Unlawful conduct. Whoever knowingly provides material support or resources to a foreign terrorist organization, or attempts or conspires to do so, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 15 years, or both, and, if the death of any person results, shall be imprisoned for any term of years or for life.

At least one Syrian rebel group, Jabhat al-Nusra, is already designated as a foreign terrorist organization. In addition, many of the rebel fighters are linked to Al-Qaeda, and Sunni clerics are openly calling for "jihad," and rebel groups have been linked to numerous atrocities, as have forces aligned with the odious Assad regime.

Governor Brewer has gone Rogue on Arizona and the Republican Party!
She has in essence pulled an Executive Order to override the will of the people when it comes to Medicaid Expansion!

Joint Statement by Senate President Biggs and House Speaker Tobin:
"This evening, Governor Brewer summoned legislators to convene a special session to address the FY14 budget and Medicaid expansion. The special session was called without any consultation with Senate or House leadership, and was designed to commence at the precise moment it was conveyed. We are disappointed and stunned that the Governor and her staff would resort to such an unnecessary, impulsive and unprecedented tactic.
Since the beginning of the session, Senate and House leadership have made the budgetary process a top priority. Additionally, the debate regarding the full implementation of Obamacare in Arizona was already fully under way. In fact, these two specific items have not only consistently been a top legislative focus, but the other essential bills of the legislature have also been moving through our respective chambers. Instead of allowing the process to proceed in an orderly manner, the Governor made the impetuous decision to intercede and collude with the democrat minority in order to force an expedited vote on her sole legislative priority of Obamacare.
We are frustrated and bewildered by her overt hostility and disregard for the budgetary process which was already well under way. The blatant disrespect and reckless practices exhibited by this Executive are less than what was expected of her and more than should be tolerated.

One of the Bills Gov. Brewer Vetoed Thursday included Senate Bill 1178, a measure that sought to allow people to sue over potential violations of religious freedom.

Her response for the action was; "It is disappointing I must demonstrate the moratorium was not an idle threat," Brewer wrote in all five veto letters addressed to Biggs. "I respectfully ask that legislators join me to resolve our budgetary and health care challenges. Once these primary issues are behind us, I am happy to once again consider unrelated legislation."
Yet the governor put her moratorium in place more than two weeks ago, Rep Biggs said Thursday before the vetoes that neither the governor nor anyone on her staff has told him not to send bills.

"In fact, just a few years ago they sued us saying that they wanted us to send bills," Senate President Biggs said. "So we apparently, according to the Arizona Supreme Court, have a constitutional obligation to send these up."

The Senate passed a budget last week, but Brewer said this week the moratorium would not be lifted until the House took action. House Speaker Andy Tobin opposes Brewer's plan to expand Medicaid to 300,000 more poor Arizonans.

Why one of Obama’s most visible foes became his biggest ally in Obamacare

Amnesty. It would unfairly reward illegal immigrants by granting them legal residence.  But beyond the political bickering is a simple truth:  if passed by Congress, amnesty would cost hard working American taxpayers more than five trillion dollars.

Congress should keep the promises they made when they granted amnesty "for only this one time" in 1986.
Enforce our existing laws by imposing stiff fines on those who hire illegal immigrants.
Secure our borders - It is a top priority for Americans.
